Aces and Faces poker game. Here’s how to play:
First, place your bet. Then, you’ll be dealt five cards. Your goal is to create the best possible hand, using the standard poker hand rankings. The twist with Aces and Faces is that certain four-of-a-kind hands pay out higher than others – specifically, those with aces or face cards (jacks, queens, or kings). Hence the name.
Once you’ve examined your hand, you can choose to hold any number of cards and discard the rest. You’ll then be dealt new cards to replace the ones you’ve thrown away. If you end up with a winning hand, you’ll receive a payout based on the strength of your hand and the amount you bet.
But wait, there’s more! Aces and Faces also has a Double feature, which can be activated after any winning hand. You’ll be dealt one card face-up, and then have to choose one of four face-down cards. If the card you choose is higher than the face-up card, your winnings will be doubled. If it’s lower, you lose your winnings from that hand.
