Big Juan is a game that requires at least three players, but the more the merrier. Trust us, you’ll need all the help you can get.
Now it’s time to set up the game. You will need a large ball, like a beach ball or a soccer ball, and two cones or markers to serve as goals. Place the goals at opposite ends of the playing field, and divide your group into two teams.
The objective of Big Juan is simple: get the ball into the opposing team’s goal. But here’s where things get interesting. The ball cannot be touched with your hands or arms. Instead, players must use their heads, chests, and feet to move the ball around.
And that’s not all. Big Juan also has a “Juan” – a designated player on each team who wears a special hat or bandana. The Juan is the only player who can score a goal, but they can also be tackled by the opposing team. If the Juan is tackled, they must pass the hat or bandana to another player on their team.
The game is played in two halves, with a ten-minute break in between. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins.
But beware – Big Juan is not just a physical game. It also requires strategy and teamwork. You’ll need to work together with your teammates to outsmart the other team and protect your Juan.
So are you ready to take on Big Juan? Gather your friends, find an open space, and let the games begin. Just remember – in Big Juan, anything can happen.
