First, gather your crew. You’ll need at least two players, but the more the merrier. Each player takes on the role of a smuggler, trying to move their contraband from one end of the board to the other without getting caught by the authorities.
Next, set up the board. Smuggles Cove is played on a grid of squares with various obstacles and hazards scattered throughout. Each player starts on opposite ends of the board, with their contraband hidden somewhere on their side.
The goal is to reach the other side of the board with your contraband before your opponent does. But be careful – if one of your smugglers gets caught by the authorities, they’ll be thrown in jail and you’ll have to use one of your precious turns to break them out.
As you play, you’ll need to use all your wits and cunning to outsmart your opponent. Will you take a risky shortcut through the dangerous reefs, or play it safe and stick to the open sea? Will you try to sneak past your opponent’s defenses, or go in guns blazing?
